Introducing: Leave a comment on a friend’s saved race

As Gametiime continues to evolve into a more and more robust platform for runners to socially connect, it’s only appropriate that we give you additional ways to communicate with one another. Whether it’s for a good luck or a few quick tips leading up to an event, or a congratulations after a successful race finish, we thought it would be useful to give to give you the ability to leave a comment on a friend’s saved race.

Here are two ways to leave saved race comments:

(1) Open a daily digest email you receive* that includes races saved by people you follow and click the ‘Comment’ button. This is a quick way to leave a comment on a race that a friend just recently saved. (see right)

(2) Visit a friend’s user profile and view their lists of saved races. Click on a specific event and you’ll see a Screen Shot 2014-10-23 at 10.49.43 PMcomment box allowing you to send them a message. (see lower right)

(Note: Race names with a star icon next to them will take you to the saved race view. Whereas, race names without a star icon will take you to an event page. You can still make comments about any race on Gametiime as you may have done in the past.)

* Daily digest emails are sent to those users who follow other people on Gametiime.

Once you’re at your friend’s saved race list. Comment away! They’ll get a notification that you posted a message and you can consider the conversation started.
