Julie Weiss recently completed a challenge she set for herself, spanning last spring to this year’s LA Marathon — a marathon a week for an entire year.
Running alongside Team Hope, the official running team of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Julie logged the 1,362.4 race miles over the course of a year in honor of her late father, who died of pancreatic cancer. She also helped to raise $179,000 for the cause along the way. “I think about my dad. And I think about all of these people affected by pancreatic cancer and what they are going through. And, I push through… because what I am doing is nothing compared to what they are battling with.” Here is the video capturing parts of here inspiring journey:
