Faces of Gametiime: Seattle runner, Wes Lashley, training hard for the LA Marathon

We mentioned a couple weeks ago on our Facebook and Twitter pages that we will be doing a weekly feature about run bloggers in the local area. Well, we have some great news… It’s here!

We had a chance to catch up with Wes, a local Seattle runner and blogger at Run with Wes, as our first feature. These days, when he’s not out training for the LA Marathon in March, he’s working with a brand to give away some awesome run gear.

Here are some more things he has to share about his blog and run life in general. Enjoy!

Tell us about yourself. How did you get into blogging about running? I started blogging when Powerbar sponsored me starting in 2010.

How long have you been blogging? I’ve been blogging since 2010.

What do you consider to be the main focus of your blog? The main focus of my blog is my adventures in running. I blog about my training and products that I use. Occasionally I will host a running focused giveaway on behalf of a brand.

What have you run in the past? I mainly run races that are on the West Coast – Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series races, Seattle Marathon, San Francisco Marathon. I plan to run races across the country in 2014!

What races do you have coming up? I will be running the LA Marathon in March, Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon (Portland) in May, the San Francisco Marathon in June, and the Seattle Marathon in December.

Do you have any future running goals? If so, what are they? My goal for 2013 is to run 1500 miles for the year.

Anything else you’d like to share with the Gametiime community?
I look forward to meeting and running with the Gametiime community!
